blizzle!

blizzle!, started in 2002 has been one of the longest-running Windows Shell Replacement sites. At the peak of shell customization blizzle received over 1000 visits daily. Now, that amount has severely dropped off but blizzle remains as a useful service to the community.

webClowns

webClowns, known as Hickory's Clown Alley is one of the longest running sites for information on the art of clowning. In 2008 Dan acquired webClowns and is at work on bringing the site current and creating a community-driven information site for clowning.

RemoteTV

Dan has been working on extensions to Anurag Sinha's Remote TV application. Current changes include the ability to run RemoteTV over the internet, web-frontend (with iPhone support), and changes to internal functions. This brings Remote TV closer to becoming a poor man's Slingbox. Dan is working on this as a personal project but may release these changes if they mature.

Mame Cabinet

Dan's MAME project is nearly complete! The custom-built arcade machine features a two-person controlpad with flipper buttons for virtual pinball. Included is a 27" TV and a Pentium3 based computer capable of running classic games. Another unique feature is a flip-top control panel and a slide-out keyboard try.

Xbox / Wii

Dan had a fun time modifying and painting his Xbox. The system has an upgraded hard drive, two embedded wireless controllers and a custom paint job. This Xbox is primarly used for playing videos in a basement theatre. Dan has also added an internal Wavebird controller to his Nintendo Wii.

timedate

This is a silly little HTA that emulates timedate.cpl without allowing a user to change the time. You'll have no need for this unless you know you'll need it.

Clowning

Dan is always working on adding props for his clowning hobby, and he created his entire costume by hand! Check out the photos of the final result.
